Nestled conveniently near Bariloche's lively heart, Residencial Sissus offers a budget-friendly escape with surprising charms. As a solo traveler from Dublin, I often seek places that strike a balance between comfort and value, and this hotel certainly does. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with genuine hospitality from Ernesto, the owner, who was remarkably responsive to my inquiries, making the check-in process seamless. I booked a twin room but was pleasantly upgraded to a cozy double room with a shared bathroom - quite ideal as I had this facility to myself during my stay. The shared kitchen was a boon for cooking my own meals, adding to the sense of home. Daily housekeeping ensured everything remained tidy and comfortable, while the spacious communal areas and a lovely outdoor dining space provided spots to unwind after exploring the town. Despite the absence of luxury frills, the free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV-Netflix included-served as excellent comforts. With a large supermarket just two blocks away and ample free parking, Residencial Sissus is a sound choice for travelers prioritizing value without sacrificing the essentials. I would certainly consider returning.
